We were up this way for the Vogue exhibit at the Lightroom, which was very good. We needed find somewhere to eat and thought rather than get pizza or burgers get something a little more memorable. We walked in and they managed to seat us by the kitchen, literally looking into the kitchen, which was actually a great experience as you can watch everything being prepared and in a 2 you get a really nice intimate setting. We had a really nice chef greet us and throughout the meal she was chatty and explained what we were having which was also really nice. We went for the Sunday roast meals, which may or may not have been the right thing to do. The starters were fab and the brioche bread was probably the highlight, that’s belittling everything else this brioche bread was amazing, warm and so fresh. The dips were really nice so was the salad. For mains I went for the beef, which found a little tuff and dry, maybe it could have done with a bit more jus, my wife went for the seabream which was really tasty but again would have benefited from a sauce, maybe not everyone would agree. The sides were excellent, the potatoes were cooked to perfection and some had a really nice crisp where they had been slightly crushed then fried, and the greens were nice and fresh and crunchy. The staff were all really accommodating and friendly, so we couldn’t fault them at all, from the moment we stepped in talked to the lady at the front, to the multiple servers we spoke to. The bathrooms let them down a little, they could have been checked more regularly to make sure they were clean and well stocked. The soap they had was very nice. All in all I would have given it a 4.5 star, it was good, just not amazing. We would like to come back and try their evening menu on a week day or Saturday.

Thank you everyone for such a wonderful meal! We had such a great time dining at coal office. The food is incredibly delicious and so well explained and presented by the chefs. I'm still dreaming about the kubalah brioche and the labaneh and tomato dip. Nikki, Or and Phil were so hospitable and fun. We loved the vibe sitting at the chefs counter and enjoyed the tunes playing. I found myself saving some songs on my phone. So many bangers. Angela and Neta took amazing care of us too. Can't wait to be back !

Amazing. It’s the second time I come to this restaurant. The atmosphere and the food were both amazing. It’s like a tapas place so you have to share everything. The cocktails and wine are delicious as well. The service is nice. After 8pm, they start playing some music. I will definitely recommend this place !!

I love Israeli food, so we had to try their take on Sunday roast. Kubalah was good, as was the "Greek salad". Brisket was interesting, served in those iron skillets. And the chocolate mousse is a nice way to finish the lunch.

Tried The Office in King’s Cross and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is sleek but relaxed — perfect for either a casual catch-up or low-key dinner date. Food was well-balanced, fresh, and flavorful without trying too hard. Service was sharp, attentive, and warm without being overbearing. I’ll definitely be back — it’s the kind of spot you end up recommending without even realizing it

Delicious breads and dips (get them all), inventive starters and modern twists on classic Middle Eastern fare. Atmosphere always on point and it’s a joy to watch the calm & order from the chefs in a busy kitchen. An underrated gem in Kings Cross.

Everything here is amazing from the food, the vibe, to the service. Considering how busy they were, we didn't have to wait long for the food and service was efficient and the staff were super friendly. The food is just freshly cooked out of the stove/oven and grilled to the perfect. We ordered the octopus and was a bit scared that it could be chewy but it was just right. Highly recommend sitting at the counter bar if you come in a small group. The chefs were very friendly and talked to us about the food a whole lot.

A great lunch experience near St Pancras station. Staff are very welcoming and have space to keep your luggage if you arrive with a suitcase. There is enough variety on the menu to accommodate dietary requirements. The octopus is what we tried and it was amazing. The polenta, radicchio salad and aubergine from the starters were all very tasty and beautifully presented. Loved the pomegranate and pistachio combination used in the salad!
